I have been in a long distance relationship with this guy I have been dating for about six months now. He lives in another country and I live in the USA. We usually communicate by email. The problem for me is, today I just realized that I mostly intiate the conversation through emails. He rarely does it. This is starting to annoy me.
What should I do. Should I wait and see if he emails me first? Should I not email him until he emails me first and initates the conversation?
Should my boyfriend email me first?
Let him email you and start a conversation. That would be a good way to find out if he really misses you. And if he does email you first then do not act desperate and reply to the email immediately. Wait for a couple of days before you reply. Let him sweat for a while.
Reply:No i'm the same way it's guy nature, if you wait it will be a looooooong one, we leave it to you. don't give up on him:)
Reply:E-mail him. Laddies since whan has it become bad that we call, email,IM, whatever first. Honestly, e-mail him.
Reply:sometimes men get complacent in other words he is used to you going ahead and doing so he gets comfortable coz he knows hes gonna hear from you. there are times when its best to say what is on your mind go ahead and ask him why this is and stop worrying your self or you can go afew day without calling or emailing and see what he does and i guess you'll have your answer then depends on how he deals with it.
Reply:have you thought about asking him why he doesn't email you first? he probably likes for you to start the conversation if he hasn't said anything about it.
Reply:I find that guys are not as "reliable" when it comes to mailing. They are all computer-experts but they really struggle to sit down and write.
What I want to say... Don't stop mailing him (specially if that is the best way for you to communicate.) But make sure He does some "first"-communicating from his side (like phoning you)
Also, maybe you should just tell him this is how you feel and you would appreciate it to find a mail from him before you can write him...
Good Luck with the long distance thingy!
