How do I scan an incoming email. Right click nor left click give me an option without opening it first. Surely
There is never a problem opening an email. People have this groundless fear that reading an email will cause viruses. That is not true. The only negative is that in some HTML mail the sender can find out that you read it. You can stop that in options by not displaying images unless you ok it. Yahoo always prescans any attachments for viruses though I would never run them unless you know who sent them.





I have been randomly reading spam email since email became popular about 15 years ago. I have never had a problem by just reading. Just don't run attachments.



Reply:Try holding your mouse over the subject of the email (as if you were about to click it). If you wait a few moments, a preview of the email should appear. If this doesn't work, email Yahoo! and ask.
