When i send an e-mail from yahoo it shows it is from my first and last name, I went to my email pref. to fix the problem but i do not have my frst or last name listed. If i never listed it why is it showing up?

Why does my first and last name show on the email when i send something?
Here is how to fix your problem. Click this link. http://us.f372.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Prefere...

Under Name and Email, you can customize how your name appears on messages you send by changing the From Name: field. Reply To: specifies the return address for messages that you send. Be sure to go to the bottom of the page and click Save. You will need to reload Yahoo! Mail Beta (click refresh or sign out and sign back in) for your settings to take effect.
Reply:It probably starts out from the information in your browser/mail system, from which it goes to Yahoo. If you change the name in your mail system software, your Yahoo name may change also -- but your Yahoo registration may be affected.
Reply:When you set up your email account, it requires that you put you first and last name in. Therefore whenever you send something now.... your first and last name is sent as the person sending the email. The only way to get around it is too put in a fake name when you set up the account.
