How can yahoo delete an email address without telling them first?

Yahoo owns the rights to all of yahoo. They can and do delete accounts/address for Violation of Terms of Service and for nonuse of 4 months. They don't have to tell you because when you started with Yahoo you had to agree to their rules/TOS in order to sign on and get your address. They answer to no one.

How can yahoo delete an email address without telling them first?
If you don't log on for two months, they just delete it. And there's no way they can warn you, because the only way they could do that would be to send you an e-mail and if you're not checking your e-mail regularly you never get the message.
Reply:Well yahoo has this rule, I don't know how long for. But if a yahoo user goes to long without signing on to their e-mail, yahoo will figure it is no good to the user anymore and delete it.
Reply:Because Yahoo is not a democracy. It's a "do whatever the hell they want to do"
Reply:Either you broke a rule or somebody hacked in and deleted it. Either way, there's not much you can do.
Reply:they deleted mine! my old one..for no good reason! i just tried to sign in one day and it didnt let me! [and ive had the same password forever so im pretty sure i'd remeber it]
Reply:lol that happened to me before. I dunno, they claim to have the right to do it without notice.
Reply:they can click the delete button and call it a day
Reply:they do what they want when they want yahoo is nothing but a bunch of Twinkies
Reply:i didnt know they could without notifying someone
Reply:if they think that it could harm the public perspective....
