I don't think there is anything wrong with emailing a guy and starting the communication. Was he suppose to email you first and just hasn't?





If you email first, then kind of back off after that and let him be the "driver" (the more dominant one, for a little bit)

Reply:From a guy's point of view, I'd say do it and do it right now. Look at it this way...If you're sitting in a restaurant and not being served after several minutes, isn't it acceptable to try to get the attention of the waiter? Sure, you could exercise like major patience and do nothing and probably get a bit steamed. Or you can take action, wave them down and place your order. It's your choice about what you would like to see happen as an outcome. Personally, I find it quite attractive when a lady takes the initiative (and almost every male friend I have agrees totally) and realizes this is the 21st century, not the dark ages when it was considered being too forward or unladylike to express interest in a guy and make the first move. Except for the neanderthals, a lot of guys respect a woman that realizes that equal rights apply to all areas of life, dating included. Go for it, girl!
