And if one wrote and one wrote back, does that mean it is your turn to write back? Would the man think that or would it matter?

Reply:Well, if a guy gives his email to the girl, the girl is supposed to write first (mostly for the obvious reason that he probably doesn't have your email). But if it was an even exchange aka you gave him your email and he gave you his then it doesn't matter who writes whom first.





Now, the general rule is that if one wrote the other, the other must respond. If he doesn't it's probably because he lost interest...now, if you were the last one to write and he doesn't respond, you can wait up to a week and if there is still no response, you can drop him a line asking what's going on and that he should tell you if he doesn't want to email you anymore.





Now, if he doesn't respond to that, then just forget about the whole thing. If he does though and says that he still wants to exchange emails then you just have to accept the idea that his emails are going to be irregular and you are probably gonna have to be the initiator a lot of times.





And YES, guys are aware of the afore-mentioned "general rule" of emai exchange!
