I would like to email a certain Y/A user, but it says that i have to allow it first....how?

how can i email this person? and what if i want to email them with a different email address than the one i provided here? what can i do?

On your profile information you have to tick the box that says allow other users to contact me via email.





Remember that the answers email isnt like normal email, so the person will never see your real email address and you never see theirs. They just see a bit that says Email (screen name) and then it comes up like a message box. The mail will be delivered to your own email account, but it is transferred by yahoo so it is safe enough.





I think the yahoo answers email function is safe and fun. You often get someone emailling to say they liked your answer, or wanted more details. You can always block someone if they are bothering you, so they can no longer email you.
