When I IM someone or email them it shows my first and last name, how do i get it to my nickname?

from what i know, open MY YAHOO and edit your profile so you can change your name there.

Know also that in a PM the only name that people see of yours is what is in the blue shaded area at the top of the pm box not what it says in the white text area. And the name showing at the top of your instant messenger only you can see BUT your real name can show in other areas like when someone adds you to their friend鈥檚 list and even in yahoo mail so please read this article.

Reply:First, add... yourself in your friend list. Then right click the nick, choose Contact details. Edit your names into your nick. Save.
