I'm crazy about a guy in my class. I'm not quite sure how he feels but he does smile at me from across the room and we stare at each other the whole period--still, we've never spoken! Finally, I decided to email him on Monday (got the address from our classroom database) and I still haven't received a response yet. Today is Wednesday.
How long should I give him to respond to my email before accepting that either (1) he doesn't check his email or (2) I've been rejected?
How long should I give him to respond to first time contact via email?
Usually other kids don't check their e mails often so i would wait it out a little bit longer. Maybe until Friday or Saturday. But if he doesn't respond by then, its more likely that he has seen it and either doesn't like you, or is too shy to respond.
