I don't want my first and last name before my email address when I send a message?

when i send an email I dont want my first and last name showing before my email address. I only want my email address showing on my sent messages. How do I take my first and last name off?

In options on the mail page open preferences and change the from field.

In the "From name" box, enter the name or nickname you want to use. Finally, click Save.


If you use the new Beta version, click Options %26gt; Mail Options and select Accounts from the side menu. Click 'Add or edit an account'. When the Accounts window opens, click the Edit button. In the General Preferences window, enter the name you want to appear on your outgoing mails. Click Save.
Reply:I had the exact same question and came across this question when searching Yahoo for the answer. But I tried what the poster suggested and found that Options doesn't have the heading that the poster said. So I'm stuck as well.





I hope it is appropriate for me to respond just seconding the question and not providing an answer. Obviously several of us have this question and I'm surprised it isn't in the FAQs or somewhere obvious like that.
