Email "lists" will only sort by last name and email address..not by first name although that is an option

When I try to sort by first name, it sorts by email address. None of the lists will sort by first name.





When I try to add a contact to a list, the list I can choose from only sorts by email address.


What is going on ?

Email "lists" will only sort by last name and email address..not by first name although that is an option
Put the last name where the address book says FIRST NAME and the first name where it says LAST NAME.
