How do I rectify this? My reputation is at stake here.

When I set up my account I typed my first name in wrongly, now EVERY email I send has my name MISSPELT! Help!!
If it is just in the "From" section there is no problem fixing it.

Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page.

Under “Management”, click General Preferences.

Right at the top, in the “From name:” box, enter your name how you’d like it to appear in the "From:" line of your outgoing messages. Example: “Sally Tiptoes”.

If you want, you can also adjust the email address to which people send messages when they click “Reply”. If you leave the “Reply to:” field blank, your Yahoo! Mail address is the return address. Specify a different return address by entering it after “Reply to:”.

Click Save to put your new settings into effect.

Note: “From” can’t contain special characters like the "@" symbol. And, the address in “Reply to:” can’t exceed 40 characters.

If you are using the All New Mail then it is a little different. They still are working on the set up.

Click Options %26gt;Mail Options %26gt;Accounts %26gt;click the Back To Mail Options %26gt;Management %26gt;General Preferences %26gt;Change the name %26gt;Save.

If it is your ID then you might be agle to fix it by using an extra e-mail address.

1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page.

2. Under “Management”, click Mail Addresses.

3. In the “Extra Email Address” section, click Get Started.

4. Either type whatever new address you’d like to try (we’ll tell you if it’s already taken), or use one of our suggestions on the right.

5. Click Choose.

Now your extra address appears in the list of Yahoo! Mail accounts shown on this page. To help prevent spamming, we only allow you to change your extra address twice in one year.

If you have the All New Mail

1. Click the options.

2. On the left had side click the accounts.

3. Go down to extra mail address.

4. Click the get started.
